Paintings                                             

Although I majored in Painting, most of my artwork is sculptural. In 2001, I started to paint again. I had just crossed Ontario from Nova Scotia to Toronto. The excursion was mostly a boring highway ride. However, I became conscious of how, in my peripheral vision, light had stimulated my senses.

This awareness manifested in marked and painted panels that reflected light on surfaces and resulted in a series called  Land Language. 

​

Wee Paintings and Post-Pandemic Paintings are a result of needing to play with colour during the dark days of  the Covid Pandemic.
