Familiar Territory: Excerpts emerged through the process of packing a finished wall drawing for storage. I was intrigued with the spontaneous composition resulting from the haphazard arrangement of objects on foam core board. This recognition marked a departure from the continuous wall drawings I had been creating.

The shift continued my exploration of the line using selected elements of former installations while emphasizing the minimal use of materials in a predetermined space.

The “legends” accompanying the exhibition documented the history of the objects and materials used in each piece.
